What is Lintel PURbox?


The PURbox lintel is a modern structural building element that serves to create space for exterior shading in the lintel area.

This element is ideal for buildings without a contact thermal insulation system (ETICS) and can be easily adapted to most commonly used wall systems.

Due to the sufficient internal space, various types of shading technology such as exterior blinds, roller shutters or screen blinds can be installed in it.

Types of Lintel PURbox

 

  1. PBP

PBP is designed for wall systems where insulation is not required in the lintel or for projects where insulation is handled in other ways.

Specifications PBP:

Material: body made of Purenit construction material (15 mm)

Insulation: without insulation

Surface finish: Inner grey coating, UV protective coating on the front wall

Front concealed profile: Aluminium profile with an 8 mm overlap on the front face

 

  1. PBIP

PBIP is an optimized building element that includes lintel insulation.

Specifications PBIP:

Material: Body made of Purenit construction material (15 mm)

Insulation: PIR lintel insulation (60 mm, PUREN MV)

Surface finish: Inner grey coating, UV protective front wall coating

Front concealed profile: Aluminium profile with an 8 mm overlap on the front face

 

Available dimensions of Lintel PURboxes

The PURboxes are designed according to standard lengths of construction lintels. If the opening clearance is different, the PURbox can be adjusted by cutting the front part.
