What is the foundation profile of the purenite box for outdoor shading?

The foundation profile or the mounting U profile (as it is sometimes also called) is an important element for the installation of purenit flush-mounted boxes. By being mounted in the frame of the window frame, it ensures the horizontal flatness of the box.
We therefore start from the flatness of the window, and assembly is significantly easier because we are only dealing with the horizontal plane of the concealed box. At the same time, it creates a functional and aesthetic detail connecting the window frame and the insulation of the box. At the same time, it enables the expansion of the window within the building.
The foundation profile is mostly used in the width of the box insulation. However, if the window is "sunk" compared to the masonry, a deeper foundation profile can be used to compensate for this difference. In this way, we can easily create a detail that would be difficult to implement as a bricklayer.
Customers also often ask why the foundation profile is 5 mm deeper than the box insulation used. It is for this reason that we have the possibility to align the box to a horizontal plane in the case of unevenness of the building or when using an overlap of vapor-permeable window tape, thus enabling the ideal installation of an outdoor blind or screen blind. We thus work with the normal imperfection of the building.
